Two pairs of shoes are said to have this title, and both are made by the famous jeweler Stewart Weitsmann. The first pair are red pumps covered with 960 rubies. They resemble the red shoes of Ellie (Judie Garlend), the main heroine of the famous Hollywood movie “The Magician of Oz” (1939). The masterpiece of jewelry art cost 1,6 million euro. The shoes were created according to the desire of one Hollywood star that decided to remain incognito. The second pair is weaved from platinum threads and decorated with 464 diamonds. These shoes cost a half cheaper and were noticed on Lora Harring during the last-year Oscar ceremony.
What Madonna wears.
Being one of the most elegant women all over the world, Madonna is a shoes collector. Her wardrobe today contains several hundreds pairs. Some of her shoes are so precious and fragile, that Madonna never puts them on and keeps carefully packed in silk paper. Only sometimes she takes them out of the wardrobe, has a look at the shoes- and then hides them again. However, the singer does not disdain to wear less luxurious shoes, for example, Adidas or Converse sneakers. Usually she buys a new pair long before this design appears in the shops.

Madonna is today world wide famous for saying, that shoes by Manolo Blahnik are better than sex.

Wherever Pamela Anderson goes by plane, she always puts on the shoes, that are a size bigger, than she needs. The star confessed, that during the light her feet swell a lot!
