The fans of fashionable footwear know it for sure that there can’t be too many ankle booties in a wardrobe for they vary greatly in both design and function. Even black booties can be different, which is proven by recent additions to Jimmy Choo and Pedro Garcia Collections. They both launch peep-toe booties, but what do they look like?
Jimmy Choo’s new black booties can be described as feminine, elegant and refined. The designer combined the best lace with patent exotic leather in them, which resulted in a tremendous success. Delicate flower patterns are supplemented with leather insets.
The rear part of the booties is made from suede. A zip fastener is situated here while a four-inch heel is covered by patent leather. These black booties match evening or cocktail dresses and suit wearing on public events. The cost for the footwear is $ 1355.
Though, black booties can be quite different. Heavy, even ponderous ankle bootie can look feminine if you wear long skirts or maxi-dresses with it. Take, for instance, these Pedro Garcia black booties. They are strict and almost masculine in their design – standard leather, no buckles, rivets or chains, still their simple design is their advantage.
Pedro Garcia black booties features quite an unnoticeable fastener, a Velcro one, and a massive platform. The elegant heels are 5 inches high. The price tag for these booties is $516.

If you have wicker shoes or sandals on your wish list, you should pay attention to the new footwear collection launched by Donna Karan for Spring/Summer 2011. It is penetrated by floral patterns and is aimed at delivering a “closer-to-nature” feel.
Donna Karan makes her 2011 footwear from natural materials like wood and flax and uses natural colors and wickerwork. For instance, wicker cords are used for high lacing that fixes sandals on legs while wicker leather covers heels and platforms, which is harmoniously combined with floral patterns and wooden finish.
Wooden platforms and 70s-inspired heels were extremely popular last summer, which is still true with 2011 footwear. Donna Karan Spring 2011 shoes have wooden platforms as well as their imitations. The latter means that platforms and heels are glues over with thin wooden plates.
Another popular material for new footwear is cork. Donna Karan also uses cork in multi-layer wedges as for an intermediate layer between a platform and an insole.
Donna Karan new collection is rich in floral patterns. The shoes are embellished with true-to-life flowers and features leave-like details.

Charlotte Olympia Fruity High Heeled Shoes

Fruit theme is likely to become another trend of Spring/Summer 2011 clothing. “Sappy” prints of ripe fruit can be found in summer collections from Prada and Stella McCartney but you need to wear fruity shoes as well to match your attire.
Here I’d like to tell you about original high heeled shoes from Charlotte Olympia. The amusing shoes would suit good-humored girls. They are made of colorful leather and look like the real fruit salad for you can see bananas, pineapples, kiwi fruit and strawberries here.
The shoes have rather a high wooden platform measuring 1.15 inches in height and are equipped with 6-inch high heels. So the shoes are heavy in the lower part and light-minded on the top, which creates an eye-catching contrast.
But do these heels really impress you rather than amuse? They are difficult to look at seriously; though they are extremely original, they lack refined forms necessary to complement “humorous” design. What can as well embarrass customers is their $1695 price tag that seems to be too high.
High-Heeled Sandal Shoes from Roberto Cavalli 2011 Spring-Summer Collection

Roberto Cavalli 2011 Spring/Summer Shoe collection recalls the beats of burning Africa to our mind and remind us of tribal chief footwear. All the models are equipped with high heels and some of them feature crocodile leather details.

Classic thin heels and open toes are the key features of Robetro Cavalli collection. The shoes come in brown, beige and gray color variants and are stylized to imitate snake, crocodile and lizard skin.
Roberto Cavalli used already existing sandal and bootie symbiosis design and created on its base rather an eccentric construction with exotic leather inserts. Reptile leather tops and slipshod detail shape - as if sawn together a minute ego - make the footwear look wild and breathtaking.

Dozens of thin straps firmly fix a sandal on your leg. At the same time they are interwoven into a complicated lacing to decorate sandal tops.

Such footwear is not that could be expected, it evokes rather mixed feelings of thrill and excitement. However, though tribal chief wives would certainly appreciate alligator leather sandals, the “greens” don’t approve such designer solutions, as a rule.
Yet, Roberto Cavalli offers another variant of summer sandal shoes. They are more sensible from point of view the “green,” yet don’t lose in design. There are gladiator sandals and feminine high-heeled sandals made from metal rings.
