In continuation to the topic of Haute Couture shoe collections for Spring – Summer 2010 with Christian Dior shoe line already discussed, I would like to present you now a haute couture shoe collection from Jean Paul Gaultier. The collection of the master claims to be the most exquisite one at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. It is this collection where you can see the most extravagant items: from Mexican sombreros to brutal metal bracelets girdling a foot. Well, let’s have a good look at the collection. |

As well as outfits, shoes presented by Jean Paul Gaultier appeared to be very diverse and extravagant. For example, high cowboy boots were paired with puffed dresses, slacks or sexy leotards. The same cowboy style you can see in shoes with T-shaped strap and ethnic print. The cowboy shoe models caused a lot of discussion. Some fashion connoisseurs consider them to look very brutal with no allusion to femininity. Other fashion lovers claim the shoes to be quite extravagant and unique. As for me, I have always put my heart to ladylike, elegant and exquisite items, so these shoes are obviously not for me. And what about you? Would you wear them and with what? |

What is really worth mentioning it is vivid colors of the shoe models from Jean Paul Gaultier. Green has become the basic color decision. Green tints there are almost in every model. That is quite clear, the designers seemed to think about freshness and green nature of summer. You can see in the collections diverse shades of green – the green of young leaves, bright green, lose green and emerald green. Another basic color decision presented in denim sets is deep blue. Motton blue heels with braiding attract attention of everybody. They seem to be made of leaves, and perfectly go with evening dress. |

| So many times have we discussed the latest trends of the seasons to come – Spring/ Summer 2010. And here we have another beautiful and finest collection created by Haute Couture House designers. Everything what you can see here is the result of a fruitful work of John Galliano, who is a magnificent artist and creative director of Christian Dior brand. The new collection is irreproachable in every detail: from hairstyles down to shoes. It is precisely shoe what I would prefer to examine today. |
|
| Christian Dior collection comprises unusual boots that look like taken from the past century. I am convinced that every woman aristocrat dreamt about such a luxurious boot at that time. The boots have magnificent refined details such as small buckles or decorative buttons of the epoch when there were no zippers. An innovative idea! |
|
| Here we have wonderful white ankle boots that feature the same details of ornament. They look sophisticated and awesome, are not they? What drives attention in this shoe model is a gorgeous heel. It is high, thin with an unusual upper part. To my mind, that is a signature of Christian Dior who prefers to make an emphasis on elegant and ladylike styles and designs.
Another extravagant shoe presented in the collection is a peep toe made of satin. They remind modern days rather than the past epoch. They look awesome featuring smooth satin to cover a platform and go along a foot to a heel part where you can see a coquette bow. And now look at the heel, its curved shape and smooth lines create both sexy and tender image. The peep toes are made in different colors from deep blue to warm chocolate. As for me, the collection from Christian Dior affirmed high status of the brand one more time. |

Men and women have had many disagreements and contradictions during all the history of mankind. And how they esteem the importance of shoes is not an exception. That seems very curious that psychologists claim that women long for stability while men are in constant search. But how could they explain our attitude to shoes. I think it is a mystery that seems to me quite illogical. When a man shops for shoes he just takes into account whether he really needs it, for what cases and its approximate cost. The formula is very simple, is not it? As a result, about 60 percent of men own less than seven pairs of shoes. And women? They have on average 20 pairs. What is more, every twelfth woman affirms that she owns over a HUNDRED of pairs. The question is what is it for if men do not notice women’s efforts? Think it over carefully, women. |

It is logical that men can easily miss super stylish and amazing shoes because they are far away from the eyes. When a man sees a woman for the first time, he establishes eye contact first of all. Then his eyes make his way down her body. You may say that shoes are a part of this way, but if a woman is attractive he will not reach her feet, if she is not the most gorgeous shoes are unlikely to help her. My advice to women is to be reasonable with shoe quantity. |

What is really curious is women’s approach to the first meeting between her and a man. Yes, she looks at his SHOES. That happens within first milliseconds of the meeting and women do not even notice it. Just after that she will pay attention to more significant things. We are so different, but the main mystery of all times is that we cannot do without each other. |

And one more time we are glad to present a new shoe line from such a famous and beloved designer as Jimmy Choo. In a few words, I would describe his new line as the one full of bright colors, architectural shapes, sensual details. It is as sexy and feminine as the previous ones. Jimmy Choo does not give his main concept of womanlike shoes, which is revealed in every detail. A season to come the designer has decided to make an emphasis on complex constructions from straps. You can also see in the collection a sort of shoes that remind open toe ankle boots. Jimmy Choo is a second designer to suggest the idea of summer variant of boots, you can compare the result with Gianni Barbato Summer Boots. |

The hit of the collection is Quito heels. Quito is available in several colors: black and multicolor snake leather print. The heel features multiple thin straps that sensually girdle the foot and ankle. The shoe model is advised to wear paired with a leather handbag trimmed with long fringe. |

Another shoe models that is worth mentioning is Shakira. The shoe is associated with passionate dances. The peep toes seem to be designed specially for dance floor. The construction is more open that Quito’s one, and goes in black color. |

Zena sandal is a combination of two modern trends. It features not only stylish straps but also an unusual heel. A high platform supplements the whole image. The steady heel is made of two parts – wooden and transparent. In the result the sandal seem to have a super thin stiletto heel because a transparent part is not seen. As for me, a new collection presented by Jimmy Choo look very sophisticated and elegant. It is perfect both for everyday use and special events. |
