But remember that we live in the 21th century when everything is upside down. Today I have decided to show you some pictures of weird shoes meant for admiring or shocking, in a word, for everything but for wearing. |

| Well, the first shoe features such a huge heel that putting it on you will not be able to make a step. I am talking about shoes created by designer Omar Angel Perez. You may see this masterpiece in Modern Art Centre located in Houston, U.S. |

| The shoe is made of ebony, trimmed with snake leather and features metal spiral straps. The weirdest thing is the straps have notches just like a saw does. This made some critics think that the designer belongs to BDSM culture. But Omar Angel Perez gives a much more simple explanation to his creation. According to the designer’s words, he wanted to show people how a woman suffers trying to follow fashion trends and wearing high heels. “Women feel discomfort and pain but for what? Though I see that heels change a woman making her taller and slimmer. So once she put on heels she won’t agree to reject them.” |

| This shoe makes me think about Chinese traditions when women wear wooden platforms of impressive height. The different is this wooden sole has no massive platform, but it doesn’t simplify the process of walking. The front and rare part of the sole feature metal supports. The upper of this sandal is made of sneak leather. An unusual blend of leather, wood and metal arouse mixed feelings. |
Such surrealistic shoe is neither presented at Fashion Weeks, nor is it worn by celebrities but who knows maybe it is the shoe of the future…
