Gianfranco Ferré Fall-Winter 2011/12 Footwear Collection
In coming season shoe designers tend to put their ideas into laconic and traditional shapes rather than make experiments with footwear. So you shouldn’t wait grandiose innovations in 2011/12 shoe fashion.
Still, many of us are tires of “out-of-mind” designer shoes that appeared in a great number over the last decade. People have changed their minds; they don’t want to wear objects of art but are just glad to have nice and elegant shoes. The new collection from Gianfranco Ferré fashion house is targeted at this very group of fashion fans.
Gianfranco Ferré offers classic pump shoes for fall and winter 2011/12. Their grace is only a little bit supplemented by futuristic (or – retro style) materials like metallic leather and satin. You can see also tiny, laconic “spices” added to shoe trimming, which contributes to the unique style of Gianfranco Ferré shoes.
There’re lovely booties in Gianfranco Ferré Fall-Winter 2011/12 footwear collection. They combine different materials in their design such as pearl white and light brown leather. They can be worn with feminine knee-length dresses and skirts and will definitely help you look graceful and elegant in any situation.

United Nude and Iris van Herpen Created “Crystallized” Shoes
United Nude brand continues to collaborate with a famous Danish designer Iris van Herpen. Their latest mutual work results in the Crystallization limited shoe collection launched for spring and summer 2011.
The main Iris van Herpen shoe collection includes footwear designed by United Nude and is also dedicated to crystallization processes. Iris van Herpen revealed this unusual concept at a fashion show where she explained that her new shoes symbolize water turning into ice crystals.
So, how should the “crystallized” footwear look like?
The answer was given by United Nude designers who together with Iris van Herpen worked out the complicated construction for new booties. They are braided all around with thin straps and metal chains that are placed close to each other while the entire network appears to be delicate and transparent.
Such a complicated three dimensional construction reminds us of Daniel Widrig’s style, an architect who created the unique three-dimensional print for Iris van Herpen collection.

The Iris van Herpen X United Nude booties are available in four color variant and come in limited quantity (only 100 pairs). Their price for them is twice as much as that of traditional United Nude booties a
nd equals to 850 Euro.

Black Booties Can Be Different
The fans of fashionable footwear know it for sure that there can’t be too many ankle booties in a wardrobe for they vary greatly in both design and function. Even black booties can be different, which is proven by recent additions to Jimmy Choo and Pedro Garcia Collections. They both launch peep-toe booties, but what do they look like?
Jimmy Choo’s new black booties can be described as feminine, elegant and refined. The designer combined the best lace with patent exotic leather in them, which resulted in a tremendous success. Delicate flower patterns are supplemented with leather insets.
The rear part of the booties is made from suede. A zip fastener is situated here while a four-inch heel is covered by patent leather. These black booties match evening or cocktail dresses and suit wearing on public events. The cost for the footwear is $ 1355.
Though, black booties can be quite different. Heavy, even ponderous ankle bootie can look feminine if you wear long skirts or maxi-dresses with it. Take, for instance, these Pedro Garcia black booties. They are strict and almost masculine in their design – standard leather, no buckles, rivets or chains, still their simple design is their advantage.
