| Burberry Prorsum is one of my favorite fashion labels, and not without a reason. If you look through designer collections created for Fall - Winter 2010/11, you will notice that the majority of apparel and footwear might be inspirational but completely impossible to wear it. Finally, there is a fashion brand that has realized that women need clothes and shoes to wear and not to look at them. |
That is why I choose Burberry Prorsum Fall – Winter 2010/11 collection is an example of cute and trendy utility. Let’s take a closer look at some shoes presented in the collection.
Christopher Baily was clearly inspired by military trend that became extremely popular during the last few seasons. Lots of military jackets, suits and coats were featured on the runway. But these were different from those we are used to seeing in recent seasons. They were more modern, very similar to real military outfits men wear at battle fields. |
| Every outfit was teamed up with shearling lined boots. A luxe version of a classic motorcycle boot in a rugged, yet supple washed calfskin lined with deliciously warm shearling. Burberry Prorsum continued with their “clunky stompers” footwear trend juxtaposed with sleek boots. Rugged shearling lined boots with multiple buckles are transformed with a stiletto. They came in various heights too. |
| Besides military style you see many very feminine pieces: light fur coats, skirts that narrow down to knees, pleated dresses, lacy blouses paired with absolutely fabulous thigh-high boots. They came in leather and reptile skin, and were a spark contrast to the clunky stompers. |
| I would say that the shoe collection from Burberry Prorsum is bipolar but it allows every woman to choose between comfortable aviator style and elegant thigh-high chic. In each case, boots are practical and warm, that is what we need for cold and snowy winter. |

| When you hear about Burberry Prorsum, what do you tend to think about? As for me, the first association is luxury, chic, elegance, trends, romantic and exquisite style. Since his arrival at Burberry Prorsum in 2001, British designer Christopher Bailey has lifted the label to soaring heights. HM Queen Elizabeth II and HRH The Prince of Wales have granted the company Royal Warrants. |
| Today I decided to present you a shoe that makes my heart beats faster. It is Burberry Prorsum Twisted Multi-Strap leather sandal. The sandals have twisted multi straps that seem to wrap your feet like lianas. At the top of the heel there is a signature gold tone logo embossed plaque, it is perfectly seen in the picture. At the back of the ankle part you can see an exposed gold zip fastening, which makes it much easier to put on the sandal. |
Designers say that the sandals will definitely add height to an exotic new season wardrobe with Burberry Prorsum’s sand leather sandals with twisted multi-straps. You can take them on vacation and pose by the pool in a tribal printed maxi dress and metallic accessories.
Burberry Prorsum Twisted Multi-Strap leather sandals feature a dark-brown wooden effect stiletto heel that measures approximately 120mm with a 20m0m platform. |
| In the picture you can see a model wearing Burberry Prorsum Twisted Multi-Strap leather sandals teamed up with a T by Alexander Wang top, Stella McCartney cardigan and a Burberry Prorsum skirt and bag. The whole image looks chic, urban like, feminine and so trendy. |
| But the most pleasant thing is the price of the sandals. When I first saw the price I could believe that I can purchase these gorgeous Twisted Multi-Strap sandals from Burberry Prorsum at only £308.70. As for me, it is the best news for today. |

| If you do not know anything about United Nude shoes believe me that it is a huge example of ignorance. United Nude is a fashion brand that is in the wardrobe of every fashion connoisseur starting from Madonna to fashion aware women all over the world. |
| The brand was started in 2003 when Rem D Koolhaas, a Dutch architect, and Galahad Clark, a seventh generation shoemaker, joined their efforts and started to make fashion items. Every shoe they create is unique, futuristic, elegant and eye catching. |
| The first and the most famous product of the brand is doubtlessly Möbius footwear, entitled so in honor of Möbius strip, a surface with only one side and only one boundary component. The Möbius is a combination of leather upper and a sole that is made as a one boundary detail wrapped in an infinite hoop. |
| The next novelty invented by co-founders of United Nude is an unusual blend of a classic elegant pump of 1950s and a heel that looks like a chair foot. The shoe was named Eams in honor of Charles and Rey Eam, authors of chairs featuring such a foot. Later on, the upper was modified, and now not only pumps but also Eams boots and ankle boots are available. |
| Talking about my personal preferences I fell in love with Fold footwear from United Nude. This shoe is based on the concept of a single band that wraps along the foot as a scarf. That adds to the shoe maximum comfort and steadiness. But not only design attracts me to these fabulous shoes, I adore a wide array of colors and magnificent combinations of hues. |
| I am sure that United Nude is a brand every fashion conscious woman must know as it is a gulp of fresh concepts, innovations and interesting ideas. |

| Everybody who watched American reality show Project Runway perfectly know the name of a young and talented fashion designer Christian Siriano. Cristiano was the winner of the fourth season and is the show’s youngest winner. |
| But in spite of his youth, Cristiano’s works are eye catching and intriguing. Now I will show you a vivid example of this genius. Recently the designer presented a new collection for Fall – Winter 2010/11. |
| The collection intitled Payless was presented at the runway. Celebs sitting front row included Amber Rose wearing his Spring 2010 collection and Mena Suvari.By the way, you can see both Amber Rose and Cristian Siriano in the picture above. |
| Known for his unique and edgy designs, Christian Siriano’s Fall 2010 collection for Payless confirmed that the designer has a right to be shown at runway shows and be included in the list of the most popular young designers. His modernized take on 1960s European women – Parisian in particular, and 18th and 19th century antique furniture, is sure to make heads turn. |
| The shoes in the collection are designed to complement his ready to wear style and overall the collection is inspired by 1960s Parisian women and their daily practice of getting dressed. His shoes pull strong inspirations from antique furniture from the 18th and 19th century with its filigree and clawfoot detailing. |
| The collection includes pumps, platforms, sandals, ankle boots, boots and many other interesting shoes. The designer made an emphasis on heels that have intriguing décor and architectural shapes. The majority of shoes are made from snakeskin leather with zipper detailing or exquisite satin strips. |
| A focal design from the runway collection is the Rocaille style — a platform pump featuring a signature artisan heel reminiscent of a clawfoot. The collection is expected in Payless stores in September 2010. I like the way every shoe looks! |
