Iris Van Harpen Haute Couture Collection for Fall-Winter 2011
This summer Iris Van Harpen designer from the Netherlands unveiled two avant-garde collections, the Escapism Couture Spring-Summer 2012 collection shown at Berlin Fashion Week and the Capriole Haute Couture Fall-Winter 2011 collection at High Fashion Week in Paris. The Fall-Winter 2011 footwear was worked out by United Nude.
Both collections have similar stylistic features that reveal the brand style of Iris Van Harpen conceptual designer. Furthermore, a stylist Sheila Single used the same shoe models for both fashion shows, the shoes being created by United Nude brand specially for Iris Van Harpen.
Since United Nude avant-garde footwear is beyond the seasons, one and the same bootie models appear on different fashion shows of the Dutch brand.
For instance, it’s true about lace up Crystallization booties from Spring-Summer 2010 collection as well as Synesthesia booties from Fall-Winter 2010/2011 collection. The latter has been recently spotted on Lady Gaga’s feet.
The Escapism Couture Spring Summer 2012 and Capriole Fall-Winter 2011 collections include new footwear models as well. The sandals with a flat wedge were created by United Nude while curved heels are inspired by Alexander McQueen works. By the ways, Iris Van Harpen was called another McQueen after Berlin Fashion Week.
