As a rule on the eve of every season we expect with impatience collection from world known designers whose unusual shoe models impress our imagination. Nevertheless, I would not like to focus only on them. The protagonist of today is a shoe designer Camilla Skovgaard whose each collection is different from the previous one. Besides her every new shoe collection is even bolder, unpredictable and vivid that the one before. Here I have got some pictures of her latest collection for Fall – Winter 2010/11.
When you look at footwear made by Camilla Skovgaard you can feel incredibly innovative approach in every detail – in materials she uses, in finishing elements, complex architectural shapes. Actually, I cannot image her shoe lone without sophisticated architectural designs – that is like a signature of a talented designer.
The hit of the latest collection are doubtlessly Chinese shoes. They feature wooden platform with fanciful protuberances that look like square heel that go at front and rare part of the sole.
Then go exquisite shoe models with sophisticated design and unusual finishing decisions. Take a look at the ankle boot presented in the picture. A futuristic platform, an elegant high heel, mild bright color and gorgeous finishing make the model stand out of the crowd.
I cannot but driving attention of fashionistas who prefer comfortable wedge booties to the booties below. These wedges made of luxurious suede look so comfy and warm. In spite of being one of the most popular trends of several seasons, ankle boots from Camilla Skovgaard are unique in some way.
And the last but not the least shoes for today are thigh-high boots in leather and suede variants. They are inspired by the Middle Ages but a high heel and a platform add a modern look to them. As for me, in every shoe presented in the collection each one is gorgeous, unique, elegant and modern.

Each designer makes his collections unique and original by adding something special or inventing a new idea. The Spring – Summer 2010 Shoe collection from Baldinini proves that. I have prepared a lot of great pictures that represent the designs offered by the brand. Enjoy them!
There is in the collection a series of light boots and booties designed specially for warm seasons. If you remember, the trend has been popular for several seasons now but, as we can see it is not going to lose its position. My attention was driven by a pair of vivid flamboyant boots with tribal prints. Wild and animalistic patterns are really popular this season.
The range of strappy sandals is also impressive. Here you will find both stylish stiletto sandals and gladiator looking models on a low and flat sole. The straps the sandals are trimmed with are quite unusual: they seem to be braided in some unusual way.
There are a lot of white colored perforated boots, ankle boots and sandals in the collection. That is the best option for hot summer. Besides, such shoes look gorgeous, bright and trendy.
In another picture you can see a ranger of stripy shoes. High heeled ankle boots, sandals and pumps are made of leather in white and beige color, and feature nice small buckles and bows.
The collection features ballet flats as well. Though they are rarely presented in designers’ lines this season, their popularity remains very high. And there are evident reasons for it: stylish look, ultimate comfort and ready to wear design.
I would like to pay your attention to original heels that are half sporty half chic. Their surface is perforated, and the upper part is trimmed with shoestrings like a running shoe. But glossy inserts and a high heels evidence the opposite. By and large, Baldinini shoe collection is very practical and stylish.

| Creative designers of the Hermes brand definitely decided not to use black as a dominant color. Fall and winter are too gloomy seasons to wrap yourself in boring clothes and footwear. The designers offer us diverse tints of beige, brown, grey, silvery, and so on and so forth. Colors play a significant part in each collection, but what is much more important is a shape. And this collection is not an exception. Here are some pictures below that have driven my attention, and I hope they will seem interesting for you as well. Hermes shoe collection is presented by boots and booties. Their design is laconic, quite brutal and plain – no spikes, no buckles, no adornments at all. The models have a prolate toe, a thickened sole, high top part with slipshod folds and a high wide heel. In general the boots seem perfect for everyday use – they are comfortable, modern and quality. But if you are going to wear them at a party, be very careful at choosing the right clothes to match the style. |

In comparison with boots, these models are vivid thanks to elegant details – small straps and buckles, decorative seams and tiny punched surface. Each detail seems me to be thought over very carefully. And the result looks modern and fresh. Elegance & Extravaganza from Yves Saint Laurent
| I believe that each fashion brand has its own distinctive features that make it stand out. On the base of these features we can tell one shoe designer from another. The same is with Yves Saint Laurent masterpieces. The creative director of the brand is Stefano Pilati who has worked as a designer for such famous brands as Prada, then Miu Miu. And since 2000 he has been cooperating with Yves Saint Laurent. |

| Stefano Pilati’s style can be recognized due to the designer’s ability to combine extravagant details with elegance. Personally, I see it as an extraordinary ability. So, let’s have a look at the new collection presented by the master for Fall – Winter 2010/2011.
The overwhelming majority of shoe models are made of suede that is considered noble and modest material at the same time. Pilati trimmed suede with very unusual detail – a fur fringe. Well, looking at these heels I tend to think about a bristling animal that attracts and terrifies at the same time. |

| If you share quite conservative or traditional sense of style, the designer offered a series of elegant and classic heels that feature a refined toe, a small and beautiful platform, and a high, attractive heel. Each detail of these heels is modest, classy, traditional, elegant yet modern. There is also a pattern leather shoe that looks as gorgeous as any suede model. Leather here seems more modest in comparison with “rich” suede, but it is definitely worth our attention.
By the way, not a single Fall – Winter collection can do without boots and booties. Guess what material was used for them? Yeah, it is suede. The boots look so comfy and attractive that would try them on with great pleasure. But as far as fringed shoes are concerned, they are perfect for extravagant women who want to be in the limelight. |
