| I have always thought that shoes are meant to be not only comfortable but also nice to look at. That is the item that should bring you satisfaction but not every shoe manufacture thinks so. There are many examples that oppose to the idea of nice and comfortable footwear. Below is the list of the ugliest shoes ever. |
| • Z Coil Shoes. Though this sneaker is the best option for people who suffer from back pain, poor posture, and foot problems and who are forced to spend hours on their feet, it looks horrible. According to the manufacturer, the ugly coil heel provides softer impact that traditional sneaker-style shoes and the slightly raised heel helps encourage proper spinal alignment which does not meant to look trendy or attractive. |
| • UGG Boots. Though I see them in the street daily I definitely cannot understand why they are so popular. When I look at them, I want to say”Ugg…” |
| • Twilight Sneakers. That is a movie any more, it is a true obsession. These rate high among ugliest shoes and your neighbors will likely avoid you if you wear them. Only the truly pathetic would put this ugly footwear on for any reason not to mention the $125 USD cost! |
| • Crocs. Crocks are truly among the world’s ugliest shoes but millions of people regularly buy them basing on the pitch that they are comfortable. Well, all slippers, flats and flip flops are comfortable and look far more attractive that this piece of rubber. |
| • Adidas Kobe II. I am sure that if you looked at this picture and did not know the topic of the post, you would never understand what it really is. The shoe actually looks like a kickboxing shoe or a pillow or even like a futuristic car. I could expect this from everybody else but Adidas. |

| Burberry Prorsum is one of my favorite fashion labels, and not without a reason. If you look through designer collections created for Fall - Winter 2010/11, you will notice that the majority of apparel and footwear might be inspirational but completely impossible to wear it. Finally, there is a fashion brand that has realized that women need clothes and shoes to wear and not to look at them. |
That is why I choose Burberry Prorsum Fall – Winter 2010/11 collection is an example of cute and trendy utility. Let’s take a closer look at some shoes presented in the collection.
Christopher Baily was clearly inspired by military trend that became extremely popular during the last few seasons. Lots of military jackets, suits and coats were featured on the runway. But these were different from those we are used to seeing in recent seasons. They were more modern, very similar to real military outfits men wear at battle fields. |
| Every outfit was teamed up with shearling lined boots. A luxe version of a classic motorcycle boot in a rugged, yet supple washed calfskin lined with deliciously warm shearling. Burberry Prorsum continued with their “clunky stompers” footwear trend juxtaposed with sleek boots. Rugged shearling lined boots with multiple buckles are transformed with a stiletto. They came in various heights too. |
| Besides military style you see many very feminine pieces: light fur coats, skirts that narrow down to knees, pleated dresses, lacy blouses paired with absolutely fabulous thigh-high boots. They came in leather and reptile skin, and were a spark contrast to the clunky stompers. |
| I would say that the shoe collection from Burberry Prorsum is bipolar but it allows every woman to choose between comfortable aviator style and elegant thigh-high chic. In each case, boots are practical and warm, that is what we need for cold and snowy winter. |

| Gucci is a growing and dynamic business which prides itself on the spirit and professionalism of its designers worldwide. As a high-fashion label that has fully embraced the need for the global market presence, Gucci has announced launching of a new male shoe collection designed for Fall – Winter 2010. A selection of footwear is among the men’s highlights for this fall. It is worth our attention, so let’s take a look at the model presented by the brand. |
| I would say that the collection is bipolar. Some unorthodox sneaker styles take shape in mountaineering and leopard-inspired designs. Other styles cater to a more traditional approach with patent wing-tip brogues, ostrich skin loafers and nubuck leather boat shoes. That is what I love about this collection from Gucci, it is various, and everybody is sure to find some variant for him. |
| The new shoe collection includes a wide choice of moccasins, lace up shoes, slip on sneakers, hi top lace up sneakers, boots, and so on, the list is really large. The collection for Fall – Winter 2010 is oriented to active, confident and busy men who work hard and want to look stylish every day yet they need some rest and they know how to relax. |
| Among my personal favorites there is a black shoe made from patent leather and black velvet. It features perforated trim , leather sole and a low heel. The shoe is available at $ 540. |
| Another shoe that has conquered my heart is lace up shoe with Gucci script logo. It is made from soft taupe suede with nickel hardware, cap toe and a low heel. I love the design, the whole look and comfort it provides. The shoe costs $ 430. |
| Well, the quality-price ratio of the collection is incredible. Such a perfect design and first rate quality is now affordable. Is not it a wonder? |
