S/S 2010: L.A.M.B. Shoe Collection

Recently all stares of fashion designers are focused on the season to come. Each one of them have already presented his or her collection and waits for public and critics’ opinion. Today I would like to drive your attention to a new Spring – Summer 2010 shoe collection presented by L.A.M.B. designers. The brand is popular for innovative approach, bold decisions and extraordinary styles. But at the same time L.A.M.B. shoes are very practical. The new shoe line, developed by Gwen Stefani – the owner and main designer of the brand, will be presented by vivid images, inspired by African culture and the style of 1980s.

The emphasis was made on multiple but delicate accessories and adornments. The sandals, pumps and peep toes are result of elegant mixture of the latest trends: thin thongs, massive platforms, high heels, metallic inserts and so on. But in spite of these common details, which can be found now almost in every shoe collection, this line has extraordinary and unexpected ideas that add a zest to it.

Gwen decided to adorn not only heels but also a platform of this sandal with multiple metallic rivets. Thanks to such a trick the shoes do not look massive but rather unobtrusive.

Pumps designed in safari style perfectly combine animalistic print and golden zippers that go along a strap to a front part. One more interesting model is a wedge with numerous thongs. What drives attention here is that thongs are fastened to the platform sole.

I cannot but paying your attention on this heel made of semi transparent material. This is the shoe that seems to say TRY ME ON. And I do not mind doing it. I bet that the shoe with a wide cuff will look awesome at any party. It is one of the most womanly shoes in the collection from Gwen Stefani.
