New Chanel Shoes Imitate Oak Cork
One of the greatest designers of nowadays, Carl Lagerfeld, continues his creative work and unveils new footwear models to the joy of his admirers. Here we are going to speak about new Chanel shoes from summer 2011 cruise collection presented by the legendary Fashion house in Saint-Tropez on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea.
At fight sight, the new pair Chanel shoes is as if made of oak cork, but let’s have a closer look at it. In truth, the shoes are made of thin calve patent leather and feature classic toes covered with red patent leather.
Such toe design is not accidental for it was used by the founder of the brand herself in order to provide the shoes with an excellent protection against foul weather. Originally, the toes were made of rubber and helped the shoes stay dry, but now this feature is though widely used by Carl Lagerfeld plays just a decorative role.
