If you look through designer collections created for Fall - Winter 2010/11, you will notice that the majority of apparel and footwear might be inspirational but completely impossible to wear it. Finally, there is a fashion brand that has realized that women need clothes and shoes to wear and not to look at them. |

| That is why I choose Burberry Prorsum Fall – Winter 2010/11 collection is an example of cute and trendy utility. Let’s take a closer look at some shoes presented in the collection. Christopher Baily was clearly inspired by military trend that became extremely popular during the last few seasons. Lots of military jackets, suits and coats were featured on the runway. But these were different from those we are used to seeing in recent seasons. They were more modern, very similar to real military outfits men wear at battle fields. |

| Every outfit was teamed up with shearling lined boots. A luxe version of a classic motorcycle boot in a rugged, yet supple washed calfskin lined with deliciously warm shearling. | All fashion designers have already presented their collections for Fall – Winter 2010/11. So it is high time to tally up everything we have seen on a catwalk. Below are the most popular and interesting shoe trend for a season to come. |
| Fur boots. Winters are getting colder over the globe recently, so the trend looks quite attractive and practical. Besides, if you wear fur boots by Chanel or Lanvin you will feel not only warmth and comfort but looks of admiration too. |

| Laced-up boots. Laces are getting very popular. Such footwear is very comfy and looks great, but taking it off can be a problem. The best laced-up boots were presented by Fendi, Givenchy and Erdem. |

| Shoes with buckles. It is a surprise to see shoes with buckles on a catwalk. Spring and summer footwear also featured this detail. Now the trend is gaining power and popularity and the slogan for the seasons to come is ‘the more buckles, the better’. Though they might bring the same problem as laces, I personally do not see it as a problem. Instead, the greatest advantage of buckles is that they look extravagant and interesting and provide great support and fixation for the foot. |

The actress appeared at People’s Choice Award red carpet in Burberry Prorsum shoes from the latest collection Spring – Summer 2010. The sandals are made of bright grey leather, and feature massive platform and multiple knots. You can see knots everywhere: they girdle the ankle, go along the foot to the front part. I cannot but mentioning also a high triangle heel that adds sexy look of a modern, alluring and self-confident woman. When I am looking at these knots I tend to think for some reason about cruise and luxurious yachts. I suppose that is because of knots that remind me fisher’s knots. Who knows what Burberry Prorsum designers had in mind creating the shoes? Actually, the model has a huge platform, so it is the right choice for the one who loves massive platforms, and if not, that would look inappropriate. It is rather difficult to look feminine and sensual in such a model. Maybe that is why Burberry Prorsum’s designers chose Jessica to present their novelty, because her womanlike appearance cannot be spoilt. The platform costs a fortune but according to the overwhelming majority of fashion lovers it is not worth such a sum. And what do you think? |
