Charlotte Olympia Shoes for Fall 2010
| Hot new footwear label Charlotte Olympia is the brainchild of Cordwainers graduate and London IT girl Charlotte Olympia Dellal. The half-Brazilian, half-English designer is inspired by the glamour of the 40s and 50s and her statement making block color sandals and quirky-cool shoe boots are already a hit with style setters Kate Moss and Sienna Miller. |

| Lately the designer launched a new shoe collection that has every right to become a must have of the season. At least, it is really worth our attention. So, let’s take a look at Fall – Winter 2010/11 shoe collection from Charlotte Olympia. |

| Every shoe reveals common fun, good mood and happiness. Fall does mean that we should look gloomy and dull. I would describe the collection as an eccentric, vamp and sexy one. |
![]() |
| The collection is based on vivid colors such as purple, deep blue, black, red and raspberry pink. Some shoes feature a combination of mentioned colors. |
![]() |
| The most fresh and unusual are the pumps with metallic upper. Shimmering surface of the shoes look sexy yet unobtrusive. Anyway, it is obviously meant for confident ladies. |
![]() |
| I personally appreciate that the collection is very diverse; the shoe models are ranging from classic yet vamp looking ankle boots to everyday and comfortable ballet flats. |
![]() |
| Charlotte Olympia’s distinctive feature is high heels and platforms. And the majority of shoes is based on this concept. However the collection includes several types of wedges with massive platform and made of suede or patent leather. |

| Besides, there are some ballet flats made in modern hues. Besides, I personally love straps with buckles that go along the ankle. You can see in the pictures two ballet flats in leopard print, blue, green, red and purple colors. |

| The shoes by Charlotte Olympia are one of the brightest and the most gorgeous footwear I have ever seen. I hope you share my admiration. |
Nicholas Kirkwood Shoes Especially for Keith Haring
| British designer Nicholas Kirkwood is the biggest name in shoes today, with his daring sculptural shapes that meld contemporary art and fashion. Every season the fashion designer tends to collaborate with other brands or famous personalities. I remember his work with Rodarte, Peter Pilotto and Erdem. The result was just fantastic. And now the designer decided to join efforts with Keith Haring’s Foundation. |
![]() |
| Keith Haring was a pop and graffiti artist and social activist, whose work was influenced by the street culture of the 80?s. The artist had a very short career as in 1990 he died from AIDS. Today functions a fund of Keith Haring that produces clothes, shoes and accessories created in Keith’s unique style. Let’s take a closer look at what we have in the result. |

| Recently were presented to the public several sketches of heels that will be released in February 2011. The collection will be based on the art of Haring. A total of 12 styles will be included. The collection will be obviously one of the most vivid and bold ones we have seen in our lives. I would describe it as expressive and flamboyant presentation. |

| My attention was driven by architectural heel resembling a blue baby, extravagant prints and jaw dropping details. The collection resulted extremely symbolic as every element was inspired by Keith Haring’s work. If you are thinking about purchasing some shoe from the line, during the Fashion Week in Paris the limited edition will be sold at the online store of Nicholas Kirkwood. |

| According to the designer, when he watch a documentary featuring Keith, he could not stop thinking about how amazing and prolific he was and how great it would be to incorporate his graphics into shoe designs. That is why he ended up approaching the Keith Haring Foundation. The designer’s talent is really incredible. |
F/W 2010: Men’s Shoes by Raf Simons
| Raf Simons is a Belgian fashion designer. He turned into a menswear designer after several years of self studying. Not everybody can boast of such patience and love to fashion as Raf has. At first, he worked with Walter Van Beirendonck in Paris, where he was exposed to the work of Martin Margiela and Jean-Paul Gaultier. |
![]() |
| Every collection presented by Raf Simons is super bold, youth and powerful. The latest footwear collection presented by the designer is not an exception. Look at the pictures below. Every shoe here is worth your attention. |
![]() |
| Fall – Winter 2010 shoe collection from Raf Simons is strongly influenced by youth culture albeit in an indirect way. The designer combines strongly cut classic items with baggy streetwear-influenced details. |
![]() |
| The result is unbelievable. Some people adore Raf Simons’ work, while others hate his every idea. The only thing is right, nobody will be different to the designer’s works. |
![]() |
| The shoe collection from Raf Simons was presented at the Paris show. It was a true sensation. With a variety of styles and color choices, the collection provides modern takes on the sneaker silhouette in both hi’s and low’s. Premium leathers, corduroys, and other textures appear throughout the collection, which goes heavy on straps over laces. |
![]() |
| The designer presents his collections twice a year, usually in Paris, but works and lives in Antwerp, Belgium. In his early years, his runway shows were unconventional: models running down a street or walking in a parking lot, on a bridge, around a photography studio. Now the location has changed, but not the approach of the designer. |
![]() |
| The new footwear collection from Raf Simons is nothing but bold and solid colored desgined footwear. The high top shoes have great features on the sides and strong materials this collection. In New York Raf Simons’ items are available at Barneys and Seven. There are also a variety of locations around the world. |

Fall 2010 Offerings from Bottega Veneta
| What I love about a new shoe collection by Bottega Veneta is a gorgeous combination of femininity and modernity. That is why some offerings made by the brand are really worth being appreciated at their true value.
Bottega Veneta wedge ankle boot is fully suede covered including a platform and a heel. It is curvaceous with narrow straps that wrap around the bootie. The shoe features a sculpted wedge heel and a rounded toe. I was glad to know that the suede bootie is available in several color versions. |
![]() |
| My attention was especially driven by Scalloped Suede ankle boots. They have got a couture-suede silhouette with leather piping. An unusual and curved heel is leather covered. With their short length and curved front cut, these versatile cashmere booties accentuate leg length. |
![]() |
| The next comfy and urban looking offering is a series of calf boots. Nero, Opera and Ink Calf Boots are impeccably crafted, versatile and incomparably soft. This classic calf boot, with its strong side zipper, low wooden heel and top buckle, will stay with you season after season. |
![]() |
| I cannot but mentioning Ink Calf Oxfords that feature curvaceous lines and a front-lace closure that give this calf platform bootie a seductive power. In spite of 4.75 in of height, the heel is wide enough to be stable and comfortable. |
![]() |
| The designers did not forget about those who love thigh-high boots. This season they offer us Nero Suede Cashmere Over the Knee Wedge Boot. The boot features a round toe and sculpted wedge heel that adds softness and luxury to the shoe yet staying comfy and practical. |
![]() |
| And the last shoe to mention for today is Nero Calf Ankle Boot. This dramatic calf boot features a platform sole, conical heel and front zipper closure that exudes just the right amount of edge. The creation look gorgeous and trendy. |
