A Close Look at Alexander McQueen Masterpieces
I have already described the last collection created by the designer in Alexander McQueen: The Last Collection of the Master. So you may wonder what to do it again for. In fact, then it was a short review of the collection in general, and now I would like to focus on the shoes presented in the collection. I will remind you that Alexander McQueen searched an inspiration in romantic Byzantine culture and art.

These shoes are considered to be one of the best works of McQueen. Heels and platforms seem to be made at the jeweler’s. When you look at these heels, you feel hypnotized by their beauty and proximity to historical art. In the picture below you can see a heel with little and exquisite statuette of the Winged Victory of Samothrace that is of the major interest. Her huge and beautiful wings became a point of departure for designing the silvery shoes.

A superior shoe model in the collection is golden ankle boots that feature precious décor. Bright and flamboyant ornament made from bugle beads and crystals is perfectly paired with a fashioned heel and a platform. They supplement one another in its best way. Flashy decorative details balance a leather part of the shoes made in neutral tints.

And the lat ankle boot I would like to pay your attention to is a black ankle boot created in a recognizable Alexander McQueen’s style. They have a golden detailing and small snap fasteners. A gorgeous “winged” trim of the upper part makes the boot look gorgeous and unique. It goes without saying that Alexander McQueen was a very talented person whose works were able to impress the pickiest fashionista.
