“I have designed my footwear to be modern, lavishly detailed and superior in fit and quality». These are the words of Arturo Chiang, famous shoe designer. He is known for his affection to create shoes which are both chick and affordable.

Arturo Chiang grew up in Chile though his roots went to China. Later on, the future designer graduated from a well known designer school Ecoles de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture located in Paris, the heart of fashion world. Soon after receiving the degree, Arturo began his career in the couture house of Jean Patou where he worked under the direction of Christian Lacroix.

In 1985, the designer began studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. There he worked with a famous tailor Dimitri.

But the aspiration to create something new and special never left his thoughts, thus Arturo Chiang found himself designing accessories. The success was impressive.
